Salvatore Ferragamo Museum

In via dei Tornabuoni, at the corner of Piazza Santa Trinita in Florence, there’s an imposing palace. The atmosphere brings us back to 1289, the year in which the Spini Feroni was built. Salvatore Ferragamo was fascinated by its timeless elegance in 1936: he decided that this magical place had to pass down its name. Even today, it exudes the same beauty. Inside the wonderful rooms of the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum, you can discover the world of the “shoemaker of the stars”, explore the entire history of the maison and breathe the soul of the shoemaker’s craftsmanship. An all-Italian, unique heritage in the world. Among the gems that aren’t to be missed, the iconic rainbow wedges made for Judy Garland and the many models made in the 30s  from natural materials.
