Via della Caserma 1, Vittorio Veneto - Map
The building that houses the factory is a former Venetian barracks, which later became Austrian, then Italian again. In short, the history of Veneto has passed through here, starting from the times of the Serenissima up to the unity of Italy. The wool mill was born in 1861 and since then, it’s followed the complete cycle of production, from sheep to fabric. Ettore Bottoli is the fifth generation – he returned from abroad for the sake of his family’s business and for the love of their land. Here, five wool mills worked at full speed; now, just a member of the Bottoli family left and labour is really difficult to find.
